Preventive Maintenance (PM)
PM is recommended annually to ensure instruments are performing to manufacturer's specifications for an extended lifetime. instrument preventive maintenance provides cleaning, lubricating and a standard visual check of all sensitive parts. This includes a detailed hardware and electronic evaluation by visual inspection, function check, and a software update if required. A subsequent test run is performed. During this process, labor is included for any additional repairs identified for the instrument to meet specification. Additional repair parts are not included but provided at a discount. A service report is provided; a dated and signed sticker is affixed to the instrument. Additional Field Service Zone travel charges will apply.

Temperature Validation/Calibration
Recommended annually and included in Preventive Maintenance Performance Plans, this specific service is available to verify the system's heating block against manufacturer's specifications. A calibration, if required, and subsequent temperature validation will be performed. Documentation includes a printed report of actual values measured and an instrument service sticker. Additional shipping to a service center or Field Service Zone travel charges will apply.
