Bead Lysis Kits for Bullet Blender's
Eppendorf® kits use Eppendorf® Safe-Lock™ tubes. These sturdy 1.5mL tubes have a Snap-Cap top and are compatible with Next Advance's Blue, Gold and Storm microcentrifuge tube-sized models from their popular Bullet Blender line of tissue homogenizers.
RINO® kits use Next Advance's RINO® tubes, which they make specifically for their Bullet Blender line. The kits below are designed to be used with their Gold and Storm Bullet Blender microcentrifuge tube-sized models. They are strong, durable, and contain an integrated rubber seal in the cap to provide an extra layer of protection against sample loss.
Bullet Blender Bead Lysis Kits
Use these four steps to determine which type(s) you need.
- Choose bead type required (color coded based on type of tissue sample).
- Choose Eppendorf® (Snap-Cap) or RINO® (Screw-Cap) tubes.
- Choose type (RNase-free or non RNase-free)
- Choose quantity (50 or 250)

GREEN kits: Excellent for small medium-tough samples
GREEN Bead Lysis Kits are filled with a mix of stainless steel beads. They’re excellent for small samples of tougher material like muscle.

NAVY kits: Extra power for your tough samples
NAVY Bead Lysis Kits are filled with a custom mix of stainless steel beads. They’re great for samples too large for a GREEN kit, and deliver extra homogenizing power for challenging samples like bone, tumors, and hard-shelled insects such as ticks.
